By Annie Soft and Stable® is a popular foam stabilizer designed as an alternative to regular batting or other stabilizing materials when sewing bags, handbags, organizers, pouches and other structured projects. It gives the finished item strength, stability and shape without making it heavy or stiff.

The stabilizer can be quilted directly with fabric or stitched only around the edges of individual pieces, so it does not need to be quilted every 2 to 4 inches like batting. It helps projects hold their shape, creates a professional look and stays soft and pleasant to handle. It is ideal whenever you want a bag, pouch or organizer to stand nicely and keep its structure.
